Popularity - Name - Fame

Positive Attitude & Manners are something we use them to make a good impression on the people around us and also to feel good about ourselves. The same should count for the photoshoots!
Whether you are an aspiring model or a professional model: one thing that matters is preparation. The rule says: a great model is a prepared one. Your photographer and clients will thank you!
With the following tips, you can make sure you look professional and improve your brand and career long-term and produce photoshoot that you can be proud of!
Understanding that we all have needs, feelings, and thoughts is the first step in creating an atmosphere where everyone is comfortable.
Keep in mind that the photographer has a lot on his plate: from adjusting his settings, working with creative staff and being responsible for the entire shoot. Especially if it's your first photoshoot, a model who understands the stress and nervousness can help things run smoothly.

1. Find a photographer
If you haven't been booked for a session but have a great concept/ project idea or want to improve your portfolio, don't worry. You can go to www.priyamphotography.com

2. Organize photoshoot
Once you've booked or found a photographer to collaborate with, a good habit, in any profession is to make arrangements regarding time, location, duration, and pay. Ejecting these things after photoshoot can be tricky. Be flexible and able to adapt to the photographer's ideas, as they have a vision in mind. If you have to comment due to distance or time, please communicate those points in a professional and non-demanding way. In the end, you two want to work together as a team to create fantastic images.

3. Payment and image rights
Models are always entitled to guaranteed payment. However, if you and the photographer prefer to use TFP/CFCD make sure all necessary points are covered as well, like what kind of images you will receive and if you can share them with the public. Especially if you want to use them for your portfolio, ask the photographer if they want their name mentioned. Image rights can be confusing and challenging terrain due to the many laws and regulations.

4. Be on time
Nothing can ruin a photoshoot more than a model who is late for a shoot. Check the location beforehand and make sure you get there early enough in case you can't find the place. It is always better to be somewhere before and wait rather than being too late.

5. Clothes and accessories
Speaking of preparation! Do you need to wear a specific outfit or accessory? Be sure to get it ahead of time, or if you already have it, make sure it's washed and clean. The same care is also required for your skincare or makeup if necessary. Whether male or female model, make sure you have a bag with all your necessities, such as foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, translucent powder for an occasional touch-up. The same counts for a hairbrush, bobby pins, elastics, lacquers and gel. Toned or black underwear is also important. A selection of different underwear is always helpful as the photographer may have a variety of different garments that require different underwear.

6. Friends and family

Also, if you want to bring a friend, partner, or family member to support you, be considerate and ask the photographer first. They will surely understand and welcome the idea if it makes you feel more comfortable. And what makes you feel comfortable makes the images look great. A win-win!

7. During photoshoot
To achieve amazing photos, it is of utmost importance to rest and relax. Don't toss and sleep all night or worry about the photoshoot. Any bit of tiredness or stress is amplified through a lens. Take care of yourself, eat a balanced meal and get enough sleep. and the model feels as comfortable as possible. As long as you are relaxed, genuine and professional, the model will be too. 8. Distractions
To keep things running smoothly, it's a good idea to turn off your mobile phone, just as you would when you sit down to dinner.

9. Touching
Touching another person without their consent is also not a good idea and should be taken seriously. Yes; however, a lock of hair must be removed from your face, let the photographer do it, only, of course, if you have been asked in advance. If you feel uncomfortable with something, don't be afraid to mention it. The photographer may not have noticed and will appreciate being informed.

10. Caring for basic needs
Be sure to bring bottled water and some healthy snacks that give you energy and don't stink or mess when you eat them. But remember: never eat while wearing the client's clothing, or at least cover yourself with a towel to protect it.

11. Interacting with each other
This advice goes hand in hand with how they talk to each other. Don't be too familiar or worse, make inappropriate jokes. This tip goes both ways!

Bottom line
And remember, it is not just appearance that counts to qualify a job, but also your attitude and professionalism. So get ready and think about the other people working on the set. But most importantly, have fun! Nothing makes images look better than you and the photographer having a good time. Be yourself, be professional and considerate. And enjoy the moment when you can see the end result.
