The distance between the ‘new face to well-known celeb‘, ‘from nobody to somebody‘, ‘from dreaming to dream come true’ became shorter (not easier) in this internet era. Making ur professional portfolio is the 1st step towards the stardom, there are many steps u have to go across after that to reach ur goal. You have to b well prepared for ur journey, this may b taking the right kind of diet to go gym or yoga….most importantly, developing the right kind of positive attitude, which we say professional attitude towards ur objective.
Well, The portfolio pictures will come out very well that thing I can assure u, which will b industry standard. But what is after that, what about the audition call, well there will b audition call, but what about the rejection u will have been facing, again and again, remember there is no shortcut to success, this is just the beginning. And if the beginning is well prepared and perfect, then u should do the proper proceeding. You must know dt “God has granted you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change things you can, and wisdom to know the difference”
Track everything and do everything with proper planning. There is a number of an Ad agency, Serial/film/Ad film Producer and director. Your portfolio should reach them by ur coordinator or/and by any effective talent hunting website. If u r having such personal industry contact use them, give them the soft copy as well as the hard copy of ur portfolio, and show ur interest. Your approach should b professional. Talk in terms of the other man’s interest. You don’t need to show off that you know too much. When u talk doesn’t try to monopolize in. Don’t try to convert the planet to your thinking.

The TASK u should perform for getting the perfect exposure in this industry:
1> the FOLIO: Make your portfolio from the professional model photographer. If I will make ur folio, then few days before of ur photoshoot date will tell u the tips and tricks about preparing urself for the photoshoot. Bcoz as far as my experience goes, a prepared mind is always getting the direction better which reflects there true potential.
2> VIDEO: Create few homemade videos, which will show ur talent in different areas like acting, dancing and other USPs in u. I can give u some idea/guideline after the photoshoot.
3> WEBSITE: build your own website, where u can upload ur portfolio picture and video. This is the most professional way to reach ur prospective client. If u cant afford the own domain (u also don’t need at this point), go for the free subdomain option. if u don’t get the video option, post it on You tube and put the link in ur site. There is a number of sub-domain site available, with easy to create instruction and free template. u don’t need to be the web designer, spend few hours on the net and u r through. I will show u some examples on the shoot date, may b at the lunchtime or after finishing the shoot.
4> TALENT sites: upload your profile to the various talent hunting website. U should upload ur portfolio pics and video there. I can show u some effective website and how they r the best information resource. And also how u will land up for the audition and if u will b selected u don’t have to pay any commission to anybody.
5> COORDINATOR: keep in touch with ur coordinator, normally coordinators are charging for registration and grooming session. There are also coordinators who don’t charge for registration. But all of them will charge u commission when u got the assignment money. I will give u the contacts of the best coordinators in the city.
Prepare urself for the NEXT level:
1> SKILL SET: Find some good acting and dance school in ur city and enrol urself (within ur budget). I can also help u on this regard, to find and select the right kind of institute.
2> HEALTH and FITNESS: Join the professional gym where u will get the qualified personal trainer if u discontinued then start afresh. I don’t want to help u on this matter, bcoz I am personally very confused about what is right and what is wrong, which to follow which not. In the same health magazine, some say extra protein is bad for ur kidney, some say extra protein will cry to become muscle. However, a certified trainer can b a help for u.
3> DIET: Consult ur dietitian for the chart and follow it like worship. My brother is a certified nutritionist, he can b a help if he can arrange some time from his busy schedule.
4> CLOTHS etc.: Both male and female model it's mandatory to keep certain kind of clothes and accessories with them. My styler can guide u on this regard.
